This prayer list is updated weekly. If you would like to add a name, please fill out one of the yellow request forms. Names will remain on the list for 4 weeks, and` may be removed sooner by request. After 4 weeks, you may fill out another slip to continue to keep a name on the list. This helps the prayer group to keep the list up to date and be more specific with prayer requests. Thank you for your cooperation and assistance in this important ministry.

Announcements
This Week – Today, please check your mailbox, especially if you receive a paper newsletter. On Tuesday, Robin has office hours from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. On Wednesday, our regular weekly education program begins at 5 p.m. followed by pot luck supper at 6 p.m. and Holy Eucharist at 7 p.m. On Thursday, the Stewardship Ministry meets at 9 a.m.
Wednesday School – Come join us for education at 5 p.m. and stay for pot luck at 6 and Holy Eucharist at 7 p.m. This week, we’ll be talking about the Book of Common Prayer. Come learn, test your knowledge with some fun questions, and share in a time of learning about our traditions.
Church Supper - On August 21, Trinity will once again host its famous roast beef and corn supper. Volunteers will shuck bushels of fresh, local corn on the cob and our excellent bakers will be firing up their ovens for desserts. Community Health and Hospice (CH&H) will receive part of the proceeds from this event. CH&H provides home and community based health care services for lakes region residents from birth to death. Hope to see you there! Check the bulletin board for opportunities to volunteer.
Pew Meeting At the meeting on July 25, an announcement was made about a Memorial Gift to replace the pews. Please see the newsletter for more details. You are invited to come and share in some conversation on pews, after each service on Sunday, August 15. We will also be encouraging participation from the congregation to be part of designing this new way of being the church together, and helping make the decisions about what chairs to purchase. If you aren’t able to be at Trinity on the 15th, please speak with any member of the Vestry.
Prayer Shawls/Knitting Ministry - Trinity has a great quantity of yarn available for those who might be interested in knitting prayer shawls, or getting an early start on hats and mittens for next December. Please come tomorrow, Monday, August 23 at 3:30 p.m. if you are interested in a time of shared knitting, reflection, and fellowship or to find some new yarn for a project.
Stewardship in action – Do you know that there is a lovely display about ministry in the world, in the undercroft?
